1) 16-32 bars of music from pop or musical theatre repertoire
2) Initial auditions will be sent via video through the google form below
3) The Google Form also has links to the dance tutorials. You will submit the dance audition via the Google Form as well.

Students will work on a full scale production of High School Musical Performed at Peoria Players Theater. Students will not only work on rehearsing for the production, but they will engage in the following workshops throughout the process:
Rehearsals: Typically evening in Late April and May 6:30-8:30 p.m. May go to afternoons once school is out in June. We will rehearse Sunday afternoons periodically.

Students will work on a full scale production of Oklahoma Performed at Three Sisters Park Outdoors. Rehearsals will be held at the PAPAS Studio (8816B N. Industrial Rd.) . Students will not only work on rehearsing for the production but they will engage in the following workshops throughout the process.
Rehearsals: Monday- Thursday: 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Sundays 1:00-3:30 (we will not rehearse every Sunday) Rehearsals will start after High School Musical in June.
Kids Summer Camps: Oklahoma and High School Musical (1st-6th Grade)

High School Musical Wildcat Camp
Camp Dates: June 1-4 (4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) and June 7-10 (1:00- 3:00 p.m.): Camp
Rehearsal Dates: The week of June 7 (6:00 p.m. call time at Peoria Players) Rehearsals for the show
Rehearsal Tech Week: Week of June 14th
Performance Dates: June 16-20th at Peoria Players Theatre

In addition to the camp dates, students will have to attend rehearsals in late may and June. Camp will be structured where part of the time they will learn songs and dances for the show, but they will also engage in the following theatre educational activities:
Oklahoma Cowboy and Cowgirl Camp
Camp Dates: July 12- 16: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Camp/Rehearsal Dates: Week of July 19th: 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Rehearsal Dates Week of July 26th: 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Performance Dates: July 29-August 1 and August 5-8

1) We want you to still submit a video (No Singing)
2) Just simply tell us your age, name, where you go to school and what area you are the most interested in working backstage.
3) Backstage students will still participate in our classes and workshops for the institute.
What puts the "Institute" in the PAPAS Summer Musical Theatre INSTITUTE?
Not only will be producing both High School Musical and Oklahoma, but various professors and professionals in their field will join us to teach class sessions and workshops on the topics listed for each show.
